Before starting in-depth research on how the pandemic changed city rhythms in Amsterdam Zuidoost, Pinar Sefkatli conducted exploratory fieldwork in Amsterdam to explore the pressing issues for the GGD Corona Prevention Team and how these were experienced by the residents. This included research during the Ramadan period, research at markets and research at schoolyards. The insights gained from these explorations informed the longer-term research.
