Caroline Nevejan
Paradiso has been one of the key podia in Amsterdam for new cultures, a musical venue of international reputation over the last few decades. It has been a catalyst in cultural developments by staging stars as well as young upcoming artists, and concurrently organizing debates and special performances in which the social and economic changes of the times were addressed. The fact that the GHP and the 0+ball took place in Paradiso, and were conceived and produced in the Paradiso context, has made a great deal of difference.
